  \n\n\nApplications are accepted January 1 through April 30. \nIts purpo
 se is to assist financially those students attending or preparing to atten
 d Louisiana Christian University. Also\, to encourage mission involvement 
 of student recipients.\nCriteria highlights:\n\nMANDATORY letter of recom
 mendation from his/her Pastor\nMust attend Louisiana Christian University 
 and be enrolled in a min of 12 hours per semester. \nMust be an active me
 mber of a CenLa Baptist Association church\, now and at least one year whi
 le in high school\, exhibit leadership ability\, and have high moral stand
 ards.\nMust be actively involved in Christian Mission activities and/or mi
 nistries\nThe recipient must maintain a 2.5 grade point average or above t
